Kanimozhi the brain behind 2G scam, CBI to court

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Friday said the link between the former Communications Minister A Raja and daughter of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi Kanimozhi in the scam.

"It is totally baseless to say that Kanimozhi has not been associated with Raja. It has fully participated alongside Raja from the beginning to the end of the spectrum allocation of the second generation," Lalit argued.

Senior counsel Ram Jethmalani, pleading for Kanimozhi said Kanimozhi dissociation with Raja, who is in prison for his alleged role in the affair.

Kanimozhi had requested bail on Friday but the court postponed the decision on Saturday.

Furthermore Kanimozhi, the court will also decide on how to bail the other accused - Kalaignar TV chief Sharad Kumar, and Rajiv Agarwal Asif Balwant Kusegaon B Realty.
