Thurman stalker due in court in new case
NEW YORK: convicted stalker of Uma Thurman is due in court in New York City after being accused of having tried to contact her again.
Jack Jordan has a court date Wednesday. His lawyer and prosecutors said in February that it was discussing a possible plea deal, but did not reach an agreement.
Jordan pleaded not guilty to contempt, harassment and other charges.
He was convicted in 2008 of harassment and harassment Thurman. The jurors said that he had shown the house of the actress in Manhattan, called his family and sent letters weird. He was sentenced to three years probation and told not to try to contact her for five years.
But prosecutors said he called some of its phone lines twice in October.
Thurman spokesman said she will not comment on the case.
