Mubarak to appear in Cairo court: report
CAIRO: Egypt's former President Hosni Mubarak received a summons to appear before a court in Cairo for interrogation and security force is organized, state-run newspaper Al-Ahram quoted the Interior Minister as saying.
The Crown is the summation Sunday as part of probes into the killing of demonstrators and embezzlement of public funds, but the ousted president said allegations of wrongdoing against him were lies.
Minister Mansour el-Essawy said Mubarak testify on the charges against him before a court on the outskirts of Cairo, Al-Ahram reported, without saying when it seems or what the charges were.
Essawy said he did not know what to say to Mubarak's call was, the newspaper said Tuesday.
Alaa and Gamal Mubarak's son were also summoned for questioning.
Several countries have frozen the assets of the Mubarak family and some of their partners after being ousted from power by a wave of public outrage at the corruption of political elites.
