Obamas return to Oprah, as TV chat show winds down


LOS ANGELES: President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle appear together on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" May that the TV chat show queen is approaching the end of his reign of 25 years.

The White House and the publicists of the daily television program, said Tuesday the Obama family would band appeared in Chicago on April 27, and the show will air May 2

Publicists said that it would be the Obama family first joint appearance on "Oprah" since 2006.

Winfrey, considered the most influential woman in American television, has publicly campaigned for Obama in his 2008 race for the White House and helped raise millions of dollars for his campaign.

She interviewed several times in the past Obama, both before and after his election.
