Kate Middleton holds secret hen party
LONDON: Kate Middleton has held its hen party celebrating his last weeks as a single woman before marrying Prince William in St James's Palace said Tuesday.
The news comes exactly one month before the couple married at Westminster Abbey in London and the day after the palace officials confirmed William, second pretender to the throne, had held his stag night in private.
It is believed sister Pippa Middleton, her maid of honor, organized the hen night, held earlier in March. Newspaper reports said he was supposed to have occurred at the home of a friend.
A spokesman for St James's Palace, which handles the affairs of William, confirmed the party had taken place but would not discuss details of the event, saying it was a "private" matter.
Middleton is not known for being a heavy drinker and the move to keep her hen night away from public places reflects his status as someone who is about to become a key member of the royal family.
Customers were likely to have included the old school and university friends, and other close friends.
William similar press the sheet holding his stag night in private.
It would have marked the end of his life as a single man with a discrete part to a rural retreat on the weekend after the plans for a day of water sports have been dropped."He has taken place. It does not say when or where," a spokesman for the prince told AFP.
