Kate and William bring a touch of glamour to charity gala


Looking stunning in a Jenny Packham dress, accessorized with LK Bennett shoes and a clutch bag, Kate has his usual touch of simple elegance of the commitment of the Duke and Duchess of first public officer as a married couple.

The couple involved in the Absolute Return for Kids 10th Dinner (Ark) Gala.

Kate's style has been discussed since officially becoming a member of the royal family after her marriage with Prince William in April.

With appearances recent meeting of the Obama family at Buckingham Palace - and watching horse races at the Derby at Epsom this weekend - she tested the water with pieces of clothing simple but chic.

However, the Duchess pulled out all the stops for the glamorous event tonight.

William and Kate attend the reception of 900 guests at other Perks land and later, sitting at a private dinner before the Prince gives a speech.

Musician Mark Ronson and his band will perform for the royal family and guests.

The Duke and Duchess are present on behalf of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry - a body which raises funds for sustainable charitable grants.

The gala dinner was held in a huge marquee luxury that appeared more like a small building.

As guests arrived, a group of divers by divers acrobatic entertainment in a specially designed pool.

When the royal couple's Jaguar limousine pulled up, they were greeted by calls from banks of photographers and ask them to pose for a photo.

Financier Arpad Busson, co-founder of the organization, welcomed them warmly before they climbed a few steps at the entrance of the building before asking and smiling for the cameras waiting.

Outside the banquet hall was a reception area covered with two champagne bars and stalls serving sumptuous sofas in the Mediterranean and the Far East, where guests gathered before dinner was served.

The Duke and Duchess mingled with some of the most important figures or discussed with partners from their host, Mr Busson, known to his friends Arki.
