David Fincher's 'Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' Trailer Hits The Web (Video)

That no credit how he came to again, but the red-band trailer for the eagerly awaited adaptation of David Fincher's novel struck Stieg Larsson, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" has surfaced on the web.

And that momentum. Fast.

Slice of history that we see here, it seems that Fincher using a hard-edged approach to capture this dramatic thriller, which stars Rooney Mara that the hacker Lisbeth Salander heroin and Daniel Craig in the role of journalist-gone- Mikael Blomkvist thugs.

The trailer cuts quickly on snowy roads, racing bikes, showers of blood, and everything (and we mean everything) in between. In fact, it even marks itself as "The feeling bad Christmas movie." Move over Mark Zuckerberg, because there is a computer genius in the new town, and she is not interested in making friends.

Of course, the excitement of the trailer itself is mirrored by the mystery of this clip, even landed on the web. Apparently, it was registered (illegally, of course) in a European film, but as The Hollywood Reporter says the quality is exceptionally good for such a video and there is no sounds of other spectators. Odd.

Even more eyebrow education is the simple fact that the videos were not pulled from the Web. Yet. Stay tuned. It would certainly be appropriate if Sony would launch a route for their viral campaign for this movie.

See the sneak peek for yourself (although you can) and see if you think you can hang with new crew Fincher.

"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" will be released in theaters Dec. 21.
