NASAs Earth-observing satellite to launch Friday
Vandenberg Air Force Base, California: NASA has selected a new launch date for its latest low-Earth orbit satellite over a week after the crash led to a last-minute scrub.
Glory satellite will now pick up before dawn on Friday on board the Taurus XL rocket from Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif.
Engineers spent the last week to troubleshoot error with ground equipment. NASA said Tuesday that the problem was solved.
Once in orbit, the Glory will be a period of three years of study tiny airborne particles and their influence on climate.
