Hillary Clinton meets Libyan opposition figure



PARIS: Hillary Rodham Clinton met Libyan opposition leader Mahmoud Jibril and discussed ways the U.S. can help the effort to oust embattled Libyan leader Gaddafi.
The talks in Paris lasted about 45 minutes, an American official said, but gave no details about what options were discussed.
events was G8 ministers met in Paris to consider calls for a no-fly zone over Libya.
A senior U.S. official said the U.S. made no decision to back the motion.
Jibril is an official in the newly formed interim Governing Council, which is based in the eastern Libyan city of insurgents Benghazi.
Rebel leaders called for international assistance in the field of resource constraints, Muammar Gaddafi, as his forces to maintain their assault on rebel positions in eastern Libya.
