Zimbabwe opt to bat vs Pakistan



Kandy, Sri Lanka: Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in the ICC Cricket World Cup group match at the stadium Pallekele here on Monday.

Pakistan made two changes to match Wahab Riaz and Asad Shafiq played while Shoaib Akhtar and Umar Akmal will sit today. Wicketkeeper Kamran, who faced harsh criticism after the dismal performance against New Zealand to play against Zimbabwe.

Shingi Masakadza, high, right hand Simer comes to their first game in the tournament to Zimbabwe in place today, Chris Mpofu. There is another newcomer in the XI in Zimbabwe: Vusi Sibanda, who replaced the injured Shaun Williams.
