Bersih 2.0 Singapore plans a gathering of yellow in Hong Lim Park


group of Malaysians who live and / or working in Singapore, Singapore 2.0 Bersih-identified, are planning a meeting in Hong Lim Park today at 14 hours. Describing himself as apolitical, non-partisan, they call for free and fair elections in Malaysia.

They said on their Facebook page that "we are invited to Singapore and do not want to do something that is not within the limits of law in Singapore."

It will most likely not speeches or demonstrations in Hong Lim Park today.The supporters to the cause are invited to be found in yellow top in a gesture of solidarity to support their "friends similar to KL (Kuala Lumpur)" .

This activity, which will mirror the planned rally in KL is one of the planned rallies in several major locations around the world.

Margaret John Coordinator Amnesty International Canada to Singapore / Malaysia said, "The News of Malaysia shows a rapidly deteriorating situation", calling for urgent action.
