Peter Falk, “Columbo,” Dies at 83
Peter Falk, the star of "Columbo" is dead.
He was 83.
Falk has suffered from Alzheimer's disease.
He was best known for his title role as long-term disheveled but brilliant detective on "Columbo."
Falk has also starred in the original The In-Laws, Wings of Desire, Murder by Death, and multiple collaborations with independent film pioneer John Cassavetes.
Young viewers may remember him as the grandfather in The Princess Bride.
