“Jersey Shore” Season 4 Premiere Set

"Jersey Shore" is closer than you think.

The fourth season of MTV's mega hit, currently shooting in Italy, was premiered on Thursday, August 4, it was announced tonight.

But America will have a new taste of Snook, Sitch, Pauly D and the rest of the band a week earlier, with a one-hour special giving fans an inside look at the show and his meteoric rise.

Meanwhile, production will begin later this month on Season 5 of sociological smash show, which is quite surprising since the show began 18 months ago.
