'I want to spend the summer drinking cider with my friends': Adele reveals why she said no to big-money offers to play festivals

Adele has revealed she has no intention of playing any festivals this summer because she wants to spend time drinking with friends.

The 23 year old singer said despite the big-money offers to perform some of the most important country music, she'd much rather spend the summer months, socialization.

Adele made the revelation, as she posed for the cover of the 300th edition of Q magazine.

Asked what she will do this summer, Adele said: "That's all I do - sitting in Brockwell Park with my friends, drinking cider.

And Adele also revealed another reason, she said not to festivals, because she suffers from severe anxiety attacks when she is performing in front of large groups of people.

She said: "I have anxiety attacks, panic constantly on stage, my heart feels like it will explode because I never feel I am giving, ever.

"I'm not going to festivals. The thought of a large audience that scares the life out of me. I do not think music could work either. It is too slow.

"I do not want to book a festival and have af *** ING anxiety attack and then not go on stage, you know what I mean?

And despite having completed a sold-out tour across the United Kingdom earlier this year, Adele says there are few places she can not handle the thought.

She said: "We had three nights waiting at the O2 and I thought, 'I'm not going to play a festival you think I'm going to play af *** ING arena Are you out of your mind.?"

"I prefer to play 12 years at Barfly [little room for indie bands] a night at the O2! So I made all these decisions and some people are quite mortified. They think I'm crazy. "

Someone Like You singer Adele has also talked about how she finally agreed with her face, and did not intend to lose weight by dieting or the gym.

She said: "I've never fallen under the spell. I am a size 16, normal.
