American Idol Loses Another Contestant

But they put us in a half-hour time-wasting nonsense (including an omelet-cooking segment with the chief resident FOX, Gordon Ramsay) to America before he said: "We could be surprised."

We were - and not the result, but by virtually result. (Read on to find out why)

Jacob Lusk was the loser of the week on American Idol, leaving us with four remaining candidates. But he was joined in the last two adorable young Alain by Lauren.

She immediately started crying, and ducking his head rather than face the camera.

She probably got used to being the daughter Haley Reinhart most in danger of going home.

Jacob, on the other hand, had a couple of shows disorder. This week, the judges suggested he take an artistic direction, then another, after singing "No Air".

They might as well have been blindfolded him, made him turn and said the tail of the donkey.

While Randy Jackson said he redeems himself with "Love Hurts", the judges - not very useful - said he had momentarily escaped performance. The public may not even have noticed otherwise.

His main problem, "said producer Jimmy Iovine, was that" his nerves get the better of him. ... If you lose confidence, everybody knows. "

He gave an overall rating of only lean Jacob 6.

And Lauren? It has been more consistent than Haley last night, but the performance less-than-stellar Haley Lady Gaga "You and I" was forgiven when she upset expectations with an unusually powerful version of the hoary folk-rock classic "House rising Sun "

"She won the night," said Iovine, which I quote at length again because his comments are thoughtful and judges contributed nada during the hour. "She is a lock for the final."

Lauren Iovine thought "a lot" starting on "Flat on the floor, but when she came out to sing" Unchained Melody ", she" fired on the largest note. "She is being underminded by his fear, he said. And she admits herself that she is not sure how to push, or even how.

This charming modesty may finally be missed.

Iovine, incidentally, did not agree with the assessment of Randy Jackson and James Durbin emotional performance on "Without You" made him a lock for the win possible. "His voice closed, he said," and that hurt. "

Ryan also revealed that Scotty McCreery, who had a terrible night together, still takes place in both low - because it is good, of course, but probably also because the big country music fan is to respond to a young singer who resembles the genuine article.

Even if he loses, "said Iovine, he is one of those Idol losers who go on to have a solid recording career.
