Album Review: Stevie Nicks' 'In Your Dreams'

Part of the charm of Stevie Nicks "as a composer is that it rarely apologizes for his actions in his songs. Whatsoever of his days in Fleetwood Mac and throughout his solo career, she is focused on providing the listener an insider view of his romantic entanglements entanglements and incredibly they were filtered by any judgment- . This is a rare, vulnerable comes only after his love of his millions of fans.

It is not about to change now on "In Your Dreams", his first solo album in 10 years today (May 3).

In the first two songs on the album's first single "Secret Love" and "For What It's Worth" she is involved with men taken. She revels in its appeal nor bewitching or herself recriminations of his actions. These are their stories and feelings. Let others sort out the mess of these complications.

There is a beautiful country-rock tone of "For What It's Worth", the superior of the two tracks, who wrote with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' Mike Campbell. "What have you been, well, you saved my life . I will not forget, "she sings, which makes the song much more than an illicit relationship.
