Wozniacki wins third title of 2011

World number one Caroline Wozniacki won her third title of 2011 Sunday, starting his clay court season with victory over Elena Vesnina in the Family Circle Cup final. The top seed defeated Dane

Vesnina 6-2, 6-3 to add the title to those she won in Dubai and Indian Wells, California, and admitted the victory on clay in Charleston had a view of the red clay of Roland Garros.


"I am confident and I know I can win a Grand Slam, " said Wozniacki, who has climbed the number one without a victory in four of tennis' major championships.

"It's all to come together, " said Wozniacki, whose best Grand Slam finish was a finalist in the Open 2009 U.S..

She had a match against Li Na, but eventually fell to the Chinese player in the semifinals of the Australian Open this year.
