Albert Pujols on CBS 60 Minutes

St. Louis Cardinals' first baseman Albert Pujols will be featured on CBS "60 Minutes" and not only that, the segment will also cover the Pujols Family Foundation.

As the show began, Albert Pujols was seen with his wife, Deirdre, at a party for his foundation, the Pujols Family Foundation, the charity the couple launched in 2005. It was inspired by his daughter Deirdre, Isabella, who was born with Down syndrome.

Throughout the episode, CBS thought the slugger's life, his transformation, the unwanted young baseball player just two years later, winning NL Rookie of the year. He was born in the Dominican Republic and came to New York 16 years later. Viewers saw him being drafted into the towers of the 13th draft pick in 1999 MLB. Major league teams have been rejected because Pujols was young and right out of high school. He was eventually drafted by the St.Louis Cardinals, a team it is today.

Albert Pujols was the best player on and off the field! What a great guy he is!
