Apple’s iPad 2 announcement

Happy IPad 2 days! Event Apple is going to begin in a few minutes (1 pm Eastern time, with 10 local), and we'll update this page as soon as we hear announced. We will live the following blogs to get news (the event is not broadcast live), so do not forget to check out PCMag, Engadget, MobileCrunch, Ars Technica, and MacWorld, if you want to complete a fire hose. We will try to squeeze a full 60 + minute event into something a little more digestible.
We guessed that the new IPad will be like, plus some very interesting pictures were leaked today in the morning if you want to maybe get a quick look at the device. In case you're curious, the most famous rumors are pointing to the second IPad get the front / rear cameras, thin bodies, and possibly more speakers. It will also probably get better performance with the new (possibly dual-core) processor and more memory. There are many other rumors, so we'll see what, if any, are justified. And let's not forget that the new IPAD is not only possible today. Hopefully, we learn about updates and IOS, IOS maybe 5.
And the event has begun! Steve Jobs on stage.
Today's theme will be the first iBooks-100M for the books have been sold since the application was released and now Random House on board so expect that number to grow in the future.
Now the numbers: Apple has released 100M Iphones, paid $ 2B from the developers, and 200M accounts ITunes. All is well in the land of Apple.
