Aggressors to win Mohali battle: Rashid Latif

KARACHI: Pakistan, former captain Rashid Latif for, renowned for reporting role in the match fixing, said Saturday that the group of aggressive players will win the battle Mohali.
Rashid Latif was referring to the biggest cricket match of the Cricket World Cup 2011, Pakistan vs India, to be played at Mohali on March 30.
The two rivals have won the World Cup once, India and Pakistan in 1983 in 1992. The meeting in the semifinals has already warmed the temperature in the two nations.
Terming India as favorites in their home ground, Latif Rashid told a foreign news agency, "India in India are the favorites, there is no doubt. But as a unit of the team Pakistan was very quiet in this World Cup, the attacking team more wins. "
Pakistan came together in the current edition of the Cricket World Cup this year's turbulent past controversies leading to the lifetime ban of three Pakistani cricketers from the top International Cricket Council (ICC).
Pakistan has won five of their six matches and topped Group A while the other part of India finished third in Group B after losing against South Africa and play a draw against England.
India chased Australia's World Cup 2011, after Pakistan ended their 34-match winning streak at the World Cup group stage. Pakistan beat West Indies in literally 10 wickets in their quarterfinal.
Recalling the time when India defeated Pakistan in the 1996 World Cup, Rashid Latif said: "I was part of this game and I still feel the pain. People have not forgotten that game, even after 15 years. Every player wants to be remembered in history and a meeting of Indo-Pak is an ideal opportunity to achieve fame in a flash. "
India had beaten Pakistan in the quarter-finals by 39 runs in Bangalore, a match that is recognized more for Aamir Sohail-Venkatesh Prasad showdown.
