The "Morning Joe" this morning after being invited to call Obama a press conference Wednesday, MSNBC contributor Mark Halperin said, "I thought it was kind of a dick yesterday."

Wow.
Halperin apologized for his remarks on the air and on Twitter, writing, "I want to offer a sincere apology and deep to the President and viewers Morning Joe. My comment was not funny. I am sorry deeply. "
Now MSNBC has suspended indefinitely Halperin, calling his comments "totally inappropriate and unacceptable."
"We apologize to the President, White House and all our viewers," said the network in a statement. "We strive for a high level of speeches and comments like these have no place on our air."
