Nazi sex dolls Hitler's blow-up 'girls' for disease-ridden troops

Adolf Hitler ordered blow-up dolls for his troops, because so many sexual diseases caught from prostitutes, records show.

Nazi scientists developed the "Synthetic comforters" for the German soldiers who were a little too much fun in Paris.

The problem was so bad that he kept many troops from frontline duties. World War II project started in 1940 after the SS chief Heinrich Himmler wrote: "The greatest danger in Paris, is the widespread and uncontrolled whores, picking up clients in bars, dance halls and other places.

"It is our duty to prevent soldiers from risking their health for the sake of a quick adventure."

Hitler personally apporoved the plan for the blonde with blue eyes "gynoid" dolls, which were small enough to fit in a backpack.

They were tested by soldiers in the Nazi occupation of Jersey.

Himmler was so impressed that he ordered 50 for its own troops.

But in 1942, the project was axed when the German soldiers refused to carry the dolls because of the potential embarrassment if they were captured by the British.

Author Graeme Donald discovered the secret of Hitler's "Project Borghild" while searching the history of Barbie - that was based on a doll postwar German sex.

He said: "In the end the idea fizzled out and where they were made and all the dolls were destroyed in the bombing of Dresden."
