E3 2011: Dragon Nest is not a cartoony Vindictus
If you've played action Nexon and physics-based MMO Vindictus, you knew Dragon Nest. Well, a little. Both games feature graphics and more above the battle, but Dragon Nest is certainly a distinct product. You know when you hit your first mob, and it just feels different. At E3 this year, we were invited to try the game at all attached to another player in a group instantiated.
Unfortunately for us, our partner does not seem to have ever played a videogame in his life, but fortunately we were able to press random keys and try different menus while we waited for her to catch up. We fought our way through a dungeon, which considered similar to dungeons Vindictus in its mechanics. We killed some monsters, avoid traps a kind of gas, and waited for our partner in the familiar red portals that lead us to the next step in the dungeon. The experiment was too short, but it provided a good overview of this newest title Nexon.
