Pizza Hut to create 5,000 jobs


Restaurant chain Pizza Hut has announced plans to create 5,000 jobs by opening an additional 300 delivery points.

The delivery arm of the output currently owns 318 stores across the UK and Ireland, but aims to more than double the number of outlets to around 700 by 2020.

To manage growth, the company plans to take on 15 franchisees with experience in the food and retail a year.

Over the past three years, Pizza Hut Delivery has consistently experienced double-digit growth for trade in the United Kingdom as a comparable.

Mark Fox, Chief Commercial Officer, Pizza Hut Delivery, said: "Customers have responded to the simple fact that we deliver the delicious pizza, quickly, to the great value we have experienced strong sales growth over the past two years, and we are. optimistic about our chances of success as we expand our field. "
This year alone, the company plans to open 40 new stores and hiring chefs, delivery drivers and franchisees has already begun.
