Maria Shriver on Arnold Bombshell: “Painful and Heartbreaking”

Maria Shriver spoke for the first time since news broke that her ex-husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the father of a child with a member of their household staff.

"This is a painful and heartbreaking, " Shriver said in a statement.

"As a mother, my concern is for children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy that my children and try to rebuild our lives and heal. I have no further comment, " adds Will Shriver.

Last week, Schwarzenegger and Shriver have separated after 25 years of marriage.
