Going back to her roots: Kate Moss returns to her hometown of Croydon by helicopter for new Rimmel ad
Since it was discovered by a model scout aged 14, Kate Moss left her hometown of Croydon firmly in his past.
But the supermodel has decided to return to its roots for new makeup Rimmel announced that it has been transported into the southern suburbs of London by helicopter.
The blonde 37-year-old had returned to form in a stunning red mini dress, heels, patent peep-toe and lashings of lipstick as she turned the advertising on the roof of Croydon Whitgift famous shopping center.
Queen gateway was seen walking on the roof of a park in the center of Whitgift parking garage and jump into a chopper oil spill before being lifted in the concrete jungle that is downtown Croydon.
Although the shooting took place at sunrise, Moss has been seen before on the street near the Allders department store with her hair in rollers and enjoy two of his vices - white wine and a cigarette.
During the promo, there was heavy security at the site and the entire top floor of the parking had to be disposed of enthusiastic spectators.
Many onlookers misheard and thought the new wife of Prince William Kate Middleton, aka Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, was in the helicopter.
The model performance in Croydon comes six months after she complained of the region had become "rough" since childhood.
She told the magazine stylist: "It is so hard. My father was in the pub the other day, someone shot me.
Moss grew up in Addiscombe - just a mile down the road Whitgift Centre - and has honed her famous style by shopping in thrift shops as they grow.
When she went out with Hollywood star Johnny Depp in the nineties, it would have brought him back to the suburbs for a visit and brought him to Surrey Street Market and Po Na Na nightclub.
Of course, the Croydon nightlife has changed much since Moss grew up - maybe the bar by Rehab or Tiger Tiger can not be entirely to his taste today.
