Barcelona vs. Real Madrid: Cristiano Ronaldo and El Clasico's Biggest Storylines
Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Barcelona, Real Madrid and El Clasico is unprecedented in the territory, literally.
The two sides most vaunted and historic Spanish football (futbol) tonight, the historic battle (or this morning or this afternoon harmony depends on where you are) for the first of four games in 18 days for the first time in Spanish history.
Barcelona, currently eight points ahead of Madrid in Liga rankings, should be the immediate favorite because of the comprehensive 5-0 beating they put on their Spanish rivals on Nov. 29. The Catalan club have played the most dominant, consistent football all season and are on track to win their second three times in three seasons. They also face Madrid in the Copa del Rey final on Wednesday and two meetings of the Champions League on April 26 and May 3
But do not count on Jose Mourinho and Los Blancos. He was, after all, Mourinho's Inter Milan side that knocked Pep Guardiola Barcelona seemingly invincible side of the Champions League. Madrid have been licking their chops at the thought of revenge after their May 29 embarrassment.
How many times Ronaldo seems to cry? How outrageous tracks will be Messi, David Villa or make wild plans? How slick action Guardiola will wear?
