Protest demonstrations held against burning of Holy Quran

Chakwal: Several protests were held in the district against the reprehensible incident of burning of the Holy Qur'an by a church priest in Florida.

Rallies were taken in different parts of the district in this regard.

A rally was highlighted by Anjuman-e-Tajran subzi Mandi.

Participants of the rally carried banners and playing cards, on which, anti-American slogans were inscribed, so that all markets remained close to the occasion.

The rally has been transformed into a big public meeting at Chowk Bhoun which was addressed by Ejaz Shah Gilani, Shaukat Mehmood Tatraux Qari, Abdul Rasheed and Babu Aamir Naveed Qazi.

The speakers condemned the act of the father of American church and called intolerable.

Another rally was taken by different organizations Shiites after Friday prayers, which began with Imam Bargah Sarpark.

The rally was then sent by Abu Mohammed Hashim, Mazhar Ali Shah Kazmi and Ahmad.
