Libyan rebels scatter, world mulls sending arms
Binghazi: The loyalist forces invaded the oil city of Ras Lanuf Jamahiriya Wednesday, dissemination rebel firepower as world powers discussed the weapons motley crew of fighters seeking to oust Muammar Gaddafi.
AFP journalists citing rebel fighters, troops swept Ras Lanuf Gaddafi, for its strategic oil refinery, flamboyant away with tanks and heavy artillery fire soon after dawn.
Panicked by rebels fled across hundreds Uqayla, 20 kilometers (12 miles) east of Ras Lanuf, calling in air strikes from coalition forces Qaddafi, before driving away from the front line through the oil city of Brega and towards the main city of Ajdabiya, 120 kilometers.
"We want two things: that the bombs on planes drop tanks and heavy artillery Gaddafi, and they (coalition forces) give us weapons so that we can fight, " said rebel fighter Yunes Abdelghaim AFP.
