Big Love
Big Love is an American television series aired on HBO between March 2006 and March 2011. The show is a fictional fundamentalist Mormon family in Utah that practices polygamy. Big Love starred Bill Paxton, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Chloƫ Sevigny, Ginnifer Goodwin, Douglas Smith, Bruce Dern, Grace Zabriskie, Mary Kay Place, Matt Ross, and Cassi Thomson.
The series created in the United States March 12, 2006, after the first sixth season of the HBO series The Sopranos. The show lasted five seasons, ending March 20, 2011.
Overview
The show was co-created by Mark Olsen and Will Scheffer, who also served as executive producers. Olsen and Scheffer spent nearly three years of research on the premise of the series [5], with the intention to create a fair representation of polygamy in America without being judgmental. The theme song for the last two seasons the series was "Home" by the engineers of the band. During the first three seasons, "God Only Knows" The Beach Boys played during the opening credits. The musical score of the series was composed by Anton Sanko. Mark Mothersbaugh composed the music of the first season, while David Byrne was in charge of music during the second season.

Main cast
Bill Paxton as Bill Henrickson - main character. It is polygamous and practice at the end of Season 4, was elected as a Republican senator from Utah State.
Jeanne Tripplehorn as Barbara "Barb" Henrickson - first wife of Bill. Mother of Sarah, Ben, and Tancy ("Teeny").
Chloƫ Sevigny as Nicolette "Nicki" Grant - Bill's second wife, former warden Barb (during his battle with cancer) and the daughter of Roman Grant. Mother of Wayne and Raymond (with Bill), and Cara Lynn (JJ)
Ginnifer Goodwin as Margene "Margie" Heffman - younger third wife and Bill. Mother of Lester, Aaron, Nell.
Amanda Seyfried as Sarah Henrickson - Bill and Barb's first daughter, struggling with the faith of his polygamous father. She married Scott Quittman despite the initial reservations of his parents.
Douglas Smith as Ben Henrickson - Bill and Barb's son. At the beginning of the series, he expressed his sexual attraction to Margene, the third mother, who was dismissed as incestuous. He stated his willingness to follow the principles to practice polygamy as his father did.
