UN Council orders Libya sanctions



UN: UN Security Council on Saturday, the order of the arms embargo on Libya travel ban and assets of the regime of Muammar Gaddafi, and ordered an investigation of crimes against humanity bloodshed.

The Council adopted a new demand for an immediate cessation of attacks on civilian supporters of al-Qadhafi said that he incited "the highest level of the Libyan government." UN says more than 1.000 people were killed in riots.

a travel ban and assets will be directed by 68-year-old Libyan leader, seven of his sons and a daughter, Aisha, other family members and senior defense and intelligence officials were accused of playing a role in the bloodshed.

Sixteen names on the list of sanctions.
