Mahendra Singh Dhoni Indian Captain will not be taking too lightly Bangladesh when his tournament favorites obtain on the home side in Saturday's opening match of the World Cup.
"I am expecting a good competition because Bangladesh is a good side and has the advantage of home support," Dhoni said of the match in Mirpur, where spinners are predictable to be key and where India wants vengeance for a sore World Cup defeat four years ago.
Bangladesh scored a upset win over India in a group game at the 2007 World Cup in the Caribbean, triggering an early exit for the 1983 world champion.
Nervous to make compensation, the India captain consider his team are in good form ahead of Saturday's game.
"Quite a few players are the same (from the 2007 team), but we are in a better frame of mind. We have carried out well over the last two years and well-known conditions give us a plus point in this tournament," Dhoni said.
