Poonam Pandey, who grabbed headlines with his promise to go naked to celebrate the team's World Cup in India, has been inundated with offers from Bollywood, but swimming costume model says she will not strip on screen.
The model has attracted criticism with his offer, which, it was rejected by BCCI. But he helped her get a spot on reality show Khatron Khiladi stunt Ke on colors.
The model said she was offered roles in films and item songs in Bollywood, but does not believe that her bold image will impact negatively on his dreams of acting.
"I do not think my bold image to hinder my career. My decision was to go naked for my nation and not a publicity stunt on the cheap. That does not mean I band in Bollywood. I want to act as other actress Poonam told PTI.
Claims 19 years, despite some Brickbats, many people came out to support his decision.
"Then I said I band, there were many people who supported and understood my feelings. I do not understand why some people had to behave like how they did it and create a problem from scratch, "she said.
Poonam, who faces the camera for the first time during Gladrags and became a model of Kingfisher, said she wished to work in movies and wants to become a successful actor.
For now, Poonam wants to focus on Khatron Ke Khiladi 4, hosted by Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. The show will be shot in Cape Town, South Africa.
