KATE UPTON'S ENGAGEMENT RING IS GORGEOUS! JUSTIN VERLANDER'S FIANCEE SHOWS OFF NEW DIAMOND BLING AT 2016 MET GALA

Kate Upton's engagement ring is gorgeous! The model showed off her stunning new diamond at the 2016 Met Gala, confirming her engagement to MLB pitcher Justin Verlander. The bling looked stunning next to her metallic Topshop gown.

"I'm really excited, he asked me right before season started so we've been keeping it on the down low for quite a while," she told E! News. "So I'm excited to finally be able to share it with the world!"

Kate Upton and Justin Verlander first started dating in early 2013, but they quickly broke up. Upton then dated Maksim Chmerkovskiy for six months before reuniting with the Detroit Tigers pitcher.

"It seems like forever in Hollywood, right?" Upton said of her relationship last month. "For us, we always try and work on our communication," Upton says of their staying power. "We're very open with one another and we're each others' best friends. He's definitely my best friend, so I think that helps a lot."


And since then, Kate Upton and Justin Verlander's relationship has only gotten more serious. They've gushed about each other on social media, and they've posted plenty of adorable PDA photos. Last month, the pitcher posted a gorgeous picture of his now-fiancee with the caption, "@kateupton looked so gorgeous last night at the #vanityfairoscars party! Wish I could have been there with her. #stunning #luckyman."

Upton, for her part, wrote a cute caption of her own to celebrate Verlander's birthday in February. "To my best friend who makes me smile and laugh every day - here's to another amazing year, happy birthday!" she wrote alongside a photo of the couple.
