REPORT: Kim Kardashian May File Lawsuit Against Bret Lockett Today

Kim Kardashian may file a libel suit today against Bret Lockett, the NFL player who allegedly had an affair five months with the star of reality behind the back of her fiancé Kris Humphries.

Kardashian lawyers sent a demand letter to Lockett last week, demanding that he retract his "false and malicious statements."

But since Lockett ignored the letter and went on CNN to keep talking about the "affair" Team Kardashian is preparing to sue him, reports TMZ.

Although Lockett initially said he had a "physical relationship" with the star of reality, he admitted he had never met her in the June 10 interview with CNN "Showbiz Tonight."

Gossip Cop reached out to a representative of the prosecution to confirm Kardashian imminent.
