Katy Perry to sue magazine

Singer Katy Perry filed a complaint against an Australian magazine about an article saying that she has an "intimate relationship" with record producer Benny Blanco.

NW Magazine publishers also a story in March claiming Perry - who is married to British comedian Russell Brand - had a
"intimate relationship" with Blanco, reports contactmusic.com.

Perry was quick to take legal action on the article entitled "world exclusive, another man from Katy, "which also contained the words, "Split fears after the shock revelation. "

She filed a complaint against the publisher ACP Magazines in the Victorian Supreme Court.

Perry statement of claim says: "Due to the publication of the article in the Applicant (Perry) was seriously injured in his reputation and feelings (and) has suffered distress, embarrassment and humiliation."
