Work resumes at Japan nuke plant
OSAKA: Smoke and steam rose again from the damaged reactor at the plant Tuesday Fukushima stricken nuclear power in Japan, where workers struggled to prevent a large-scale disaster, Kyodo News reported.
White vapor steam was seen rising as the number two reactor and what looked like white smoke veiled the number three reactor, Kyodo said, adding that efforts to spray water and restoring Electricity was temporarily interrupted.
However, work resumed later on the site, the agency said nuclear safety.
Plant personnel and technicians, firefighters and soldiers struggled to avoid a complete collapse of the factory by the sea north of Tokyo from March 11 tsunami struck its reactor cooling systems. (AFP)
