YouTube to launch paid music service

NEW YORK: Google Inc on YouTube is set to release their long-awaited paid monthly subscription service called YouTube Music Key few months, said Robert Kyncl, head of online video content and business operations, the conference Code / Media.

The beta version of the service is currently being tested and is available by invitation Kyncl told the conference in California, according to a company spokesman.

"It's not a subset of the audience that wants more for what they are used to pay for them. We do not think it changes anything for existing users," Kyncl said.

Google said in November the subscription for the service without advertising will start at $ 7.99 per month and allow users to watch videos online and listen to music while other applications are running.
