Home country music star Trace Adkins was destroyed in a fire earlier today.
Fortunately, nobody was injured.
A nanny has been with the children at the family residence, located in Brentwood, Tenn., south of Nashville. Adkins and her three daughters what he does for security after a loud bang their chip in the ear of the fire. A neighbor rescued the family dog.
Adkins is currently in Alaska for the concerts, while Rhonda Adkins was shopping at the time of the fire.
It is unclear what started the fire, although the Brentwood Fire Department believes that began in the garage.
According to Rhonda Adkins, children passed a fire safety plan that they had learned in school about what to do in an emergency. They had tied a yellow ribbon to a tree which was at a safe distance.
The fire reached the attic quickly and was difficult to contain.
Fire crews would be there late into the night.
