Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer Movie Review

The beginning of summer has always marked the beginning of many adventures for children across America. Relativity Media's new family comedy "Judy Moody and summer is not Bummer," which was published just in time for the start of holidays for many children, aims to show what thrill can be held. But The film, starring newcomer Jordana Beatty Australian in the title role, is unfortunately not up to its potential and expectations that were created by the series of books is based on success.
"Judy Moody and No Bummer Summer" follows the main character, a Virginia girl who has just completed the third year, determined to make this summer the best time. It creates a graphic thrill that she and her friends can vying for the most points for thrills, to get points, they must complete the scariest things they can imagine. But the plan immediately goes wrong Judy when she discovers her best friend Rocky ( Garrett played by Ryan) is going to camp circus, and other best friend, Amy (played by Taylar Hendler), went to Borneo with his mother. Judy is even more upset when her parents say they'll travel to California and she will be stuck at home with his brother (played by Parris Mosteller) Stink and their aunt Opal (played by Heather Graham), whom she n 't remember. But Judy is still determined to win points of excitement, despite his best friend, Frank (played by Preston Bailey), who remained at home with her, seem less enthusiastic to complete their challenges.
Despite the fact that "Judy Moody and Non been Bummer 'is based on the nine books in the series Judy Moody book, written by film co-author Megan McDonald, the film unfortunately fails to provide a plot developed in line Conflict solid. McDonald has the merit of trying to get into a new field of writing, but Judy is underdeveloped, especially given the large amount of source material, it is based. As Judy puts in its best efforts to find exciting things to do, like riding a roller coaster or learning to surf, and she gets upset that both Rocky and Amy left her for the summer, Judy does not remove any major personal or external conflicts.
