"American Idol" judge Randy Jackson had two good reasons to talk until topless babe in the pool at the Mondrian Hotel in Hollywood the other day.

Randy appeared cool, calm and collected during the conversation with the sunbathing ... and while their identity remains a mystery, we were told she had a British accent, which would explain why she was so at ease at all topless.
