LOS ANGELES: Lucy Walker more concerned gussying up for the 83rd annual Academy Awards, nothing to worry about Banksy will leave his mark at a ceremony on Sunday.
Director of transforming news dump "Waste Land" is one of the nominees before sadly elusive street artist for the documentary Oscar.
"I am a woman director of the documentary," Walker said Saturday at the posh reception in honor of the HBO documentary of the year candidate at the Four Seasons. "Nothing can scare me as much as standing on the red carpet next to the stars."
Other nominees against Walker's "The Waste Land" and Banksy is-it-real-or-no "exit through a gift shop" include the expense of the war in Afghanistan, "Restrepo" Tim Hetherington and Sebastian Junger, and the financial crisis story "Theft" Charles Ferguson and Audrey Marrs . Goers were buzzing that Oprah Winfrey will present their awards.
